Our Story
S2 Strategic Defense started in 2007 from the Chicago suburbs as a training provider working directly with martial arts groups and a few law enforcement officers. By 2010 we were taking the industry by surprise with courses and seminars that simply were not available in the market. Our specialized training in edged weapons and reality based self defense was unlike any of the prepackaged courses on the market.
In 2014 we began teaching our Firearms Combatives Program which included pistols, carbines, and force on force training. As one of the few civilian based training providers for Force On Force (certified thru Simunitions, UTM and FOF) our team was able to push the envelop for conceal carry skills, defensive pistols, and incorporating evidence based training solutions. This was unheard of in the firearms world.
In 2015, CEO Nik Farooqui opened the Corporate Training programs which ranged from personal defense to workplace safety to active shooter response programs. Since then, we have also opened an contract consulting option for businesses that appreciate ongoing training and see the need for updated information customized for their team.
2017 we moved our corporate headquarters from Chicago to Dallas, Texas. Our operations from this office have helped expand the S2 Strategic Defense footprint as we are continually servicing our clients in over 19 states across the U.S.
